About project
Cooking Diary is a free restaurant simulation game developed and published by MYTONA. The game is set in the fictional city of Tasty Hills, where players manage various restaurants, aiming to build a successful network of establishments. The gameplay focuses on serving customers within a limited time, as well as customizing characters and restaurant interiors. The game also features diverse in-game events, such as culinary tournaments and guild tasks, allowing players to compete and interact with each other.

Our Approach
We had an honor to contribute to immersing the audience in the atmosphere of the world's culinary capital. Our challenge was to motivate and encourage a player by strengthening the dynamic and colorful gameplay with our original music and sound design.
While working on the project we got inspired by the ideas behind different restaurant locations. So, our focus was on creating individual moods and distinctive characters in our music compositions: the sophistication of a classic Italian dinery, the mysterious atmosphere of a Japanese restaurant, the lightness and joy of a candy shop …
A player's immersion goes further with the sound design. As a result, a player dives even deeper into the atmosphere of a busy restaurant kitchen. Another important function of our sound effects is contributing to a player's success in the game. Thus, distinctive and recognisable sounds help to follow significant game mechanics, such as for example new orders and timings.
