We’re happy to share that the game inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories, developed by Nagai Industries, will officially release on April 30, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

For our team at Archibaldi Studio, this project became a truly special creative journey. We had the pleasure of creating both the sound design and the original soundtrack for the game, and we approached every detail with great care and attention.
When working on the sound design, our goal was to create a subtle ASMR-like sonic experience that gently immerses players in the atmosphere of a Japanese convenience store. Many of the sounds and ambiences were recorded in real convenience stores to capture the small acoustic details that make everyday spaces feel authentic and alive.
Before composing the soundtrack, we spent time exploring Japanese pop music of the 1990s, studying its melodies, harmonies, and distinctive sound to better capture the spirit of that era.
The soundtrack is designed to gently immerse players in the sonic aesthetics of the 1990s, adding an additional layer of nostalgia to the experience. The music in the game is adaptive, meaning it subtly changes in response to gameplay, allowing the soundscape to react naturally to the player’s actions.
The upcoming soundtrack release will include 12 compositions, featuring themes from across the game as well as the final song, performed in Japanese in the spirit of a classic pop-rock ballad. This track serves as an emotional closing moment to the story — but for now, that’s all we can reveal.
The original soundtrack will be released a few weeks after the game’s launch on all major music streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, and will also be available in physical editions on vinyl and audio cassette.
We’re deeply grateful to the team at Nagai Industries for this collaboration and truly proud of the result we created together.
